ABOUT ME

I’m a Bolton native, medical and public health professional, and community advocate with a strong personal connection to Columbus County’s land, water, and agricultural heritage. After leaving Bolton for undergraduate and graduate studies, I had the opportunity to live in larger cities and other states. Those experiences broadened my perspective while giving me an even greater appreciation for the community I call home.
My background in medicine and public health has taught me the importance of prevention, education, and practical solutions. In 2024, I was honored as one of The News Reporter’s 15 Under 40, recognizing my professional and community involvement. My connection to conservation is personal as well. I live on a road that floods for days, my grandparents were farmers, my father owns several acres of land, and I’ve maintained my own garden for the past five years.
I’m running for Soil and Water Conservation because protecting our land and water is essential to the health, economy, and future of our community. If elected, I will listen to our farmers, landowners, and residents, keep the public informed, and work to protect Columbus County’s soil and water for generations to come. Our soil and water are part of our community’s future. I’m ready to work to protect both.
